Brooklyn based Variety Coffee began operations in 2008, roasts all its own beans, and operates 6 stores.Variety is staffed by a loyal group of employees described on their own Facebook page as “a collective of people who truly love what they do with a wealth of passion and experience that we hope to share with you. With an ever-increasing dedication to quality, our endeavor is to ethically source the world’s rarest and most unique green coffees.”
We recently enjoyed an excellent cold brew on a hot summer afternoon. Here are some shots of the attractive interior of its Chelsea, Manhattan store, located in a former wholesale fabric shop.
