費威綸 (Warren Friesner) 是一位美國律師，他於2000年離開律師事務所，與台灣出生，旅居紐約設計師Erick Kuo，成立了一家平面設計和網站開發公司。 他們在2015年創立了一家名為Language Hero的語言學習手機程式公司。

推展 “語言英雄” 需要費威綸和Erick頻繁前往台灣。 在那裡，他們對台北的第三波咖啡文化非常著迷，於是決定成立咖啡俱樂部，讓咖啡愛好者可以輕鬆地從台灣最好的咖啡館購買小批量的職人精品咖啡。

在創辦過程中，Warren和Erick認識了擁有CQI的Q-Grader証照，創辦人之一，Davis Cheng。Davis 於2002年在台北開設了職人咖啡館先鋒之一的 Mask Cat Cafe，貓妝咖啡館。

從此，他們便開始合作，將Coffee Club打造成為一家便捷，個人化，購買台灣最佳職人精品咖啡豆的一站式商店，同時促進第三波咖啡職人之間的合作。

Warren Friesner is a former American lawyer who co-founded a graphic design and development firm with Erick Kuo, a Taiwanese-born, New York-based designer, in 2000. In 2015 they started working on an English-Mandarin language learning app called Language Hero, which required them to travel to Taiwan frequently.

While there they became so fascinated with Taipei’s Third Wave coffee scene that they decided to start Coffee Club to make it easy for coffee lovers to buy small-batch artisan coffee from Taiwan’s best cafes.

During the formation process Warren and Erick met co-founder Davis Cheng, a Q-Certified Roaster, who had opened a pioneering artisan cafe in Taipei (Mask Cat Cafe) in 2002.

Warren, Erick, and Davis have worked together since that time to build Coffee Club into a convenient, personalized, one-stop-shop for buying Taiwan’s finest artisan-roasted coffee beans, while promoting collaboration within the Third Wave coffee community.
